Privacy Policy

Islamix does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything you do — your name, your memorization progress, your saved verses, your streak, your settings — lives only on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no trackers, no ads, no third-party SDKs that profile you.

• Your name (if you entered one during onboarding)
• Memorization progress, review schedule, streak, achievements
• Saved verses, bookmarks, settings, chosen reciter, chosen translation
• Daily quest completion state
• Saved Hikma cards and mood check-ins

This data is kept in the browser's localStorage (on web) or the app sandbox (on iOS/Android). It is never sent to us, because we don't run a server that could receive it. Uninstalling the app or clearing storage removes everything.

To display the Quran, Islamix requests data from public APIs that you can verify yourself:

• Quran.com API (api.quran.com) — for verse text, translations, audio segments, and tafsir.
• EveryAyah CDN (everyayah.com) and Quran.com audio CDN — for reciter audio files.

These requests carry no identifier you provided — just standard network metadata (your IP address, which any HTTP request reveals). We do not log, store, or have access to those requests.

Islamix has no login, no sign-up, no “sync to cloud” feature in this version. We don't use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, Segment, Sentry, Hotjar, Meta Pixel, or any similar tool. No advertising IDs are read. No fingerprinting.

Islamix is appropriate for all ages (4+). Because we collect nothing, there is no special handling needed for children — but if you are a parent: your child's memorization data stays on their device only.

• Notifications (optional) — only if you enable streak reminders. The notification is generated locally on your device; no notification text is sent to a remote server.
• Microphone (future feature) — when the AI Tajweed coach launches, recitation audio is processed on-device. It is not uploaded.

If a future version of Islamix introduces optional accounts or cloud sync, this policy will be updated and you will be asked explicitly to opt in before any data leaves your device. Free, no-tracking, no-ads is the design — not a phase.
